Many of you have been asking me when you can order the ketone ester. Frank Llosa, CEO of ketoneaid.com emailed me yesterday that he opened up orders for the ester.  Here is the private  link: (If he makes it public he will sell out in an hour).

High Quality, Low Cost Source of CBD Oils

  • Have you been using CBD oils to address Parkinson’s symptoms?
  • Have you been on the lookout for a high quality source at
an affordable cost? The oils can get pricey if you use them
    on a regular basis.

If so, read on …

Parkinsons Recovery has been at the forefront of documenting promising new therapies for Parkinson’s including the potential usefulness of CBD oils. I hosted a company on the radio show several years ago that offered a CBD oils with a 300 mg concentration. Research suggests that higher concentrations may be required depending on individual circumstances.

With the passage of time, other companies have moved into the CBD Oil market that offer CBD oils with higher potency concentrations. Thanks to a member of my Parkinson’s audience, I have at long last identified a reputable source of CBD oils from a company that has been in the CBD business for 3 years.

My due diligence says that this company (called CTFO) offers a high quality product at very affordable prices. I want you to know about this company so you can do your own due diligence.

I signed up to be an affiliate of the company (it is free) which means that I get to purchase the CBD oils for my daughter at even greater savings. Of course you can do the same.

The advantage as I see it is that they have a top quality product that is being offered a very reasonable cost relative to other companies. Most importantly you can also purchase oils at high concentrations. (Some members of my audience have tried low concentration of CBD oils with little success). This source of CBD Oils is worth checking out.

Below is a link to the free website the CTFO company set up for Parkinsons Recovery with all the scoop .

Summer 2018 Jump Start to Recovery Course

Recovery Happens When Habits Change

No one likes to change. I do not. I like my routines and habits. They define me.

However …. if troubling symptoms have emerged for you, then might I suggest that it is time to seriously consider evaluating habits that need to be changed.

  • Perhaps the food that you currently eat?
  • Perhaps the way you use your phone?
  • Perhaps your hesitation to detox?
  • Perhaps your hesitation to exercise?
  • Perhaps thoughts that are not in your best and highest good?
  • Perhaps the people you hang out with (or do not hang out with)?
  • Perhaps your addiction to watch the nightly or morning news which show mostly stories of pain and suffering?

You get the point. Think about at least one habit you might consider changing – even if it is to stop eating ice cream – that you know in your heart, mind and soul will help you feel better. Then … make it happen right now.

Q&A about the Aquas

Many Parkinsons Recovery members take the Aquas, the homeopathic remedy designed by Leonie Hibbert and Jaraslov Boublik PhD to support better hydration. Both of the creators of this marvelous remedy are Australians.

I asked Leonie Hibbert a series of questions about the Aquas. Even if you are taking the Aquas now, I suspect you will discover the answers Leonie offers during the Q&A to be informative.

The Q&A about Aquas is posted on the radio show page here on the member websites.

What is Happening This Week?

Mega Doses of Thiamine as a Therapy for Parkinson’s?

I have scheduled a Parkinsons Recovery Radio radio show interview with Italian doctor Costantini Antonio MD who promotes a novel treatment for Parkinson’s: mega doses of Thiamine (or Vitamin B1). The interview is scheduled for May 22nd. He does not speak English fluently, but one of his colleagues does who will be translating for him.

Do you have questions you would like me to ask him? Email me them and I will put them on the list.

Apparently, he has been getting surprisingly good results with his treatment protocol. We all now get to learn all about it.

Therapy for Vision Problems

I have recently received several reports from members who lost their driver’s license and independence alone with it. By way of supporting those of you who may be experiencing vision problems, I posted on the radio show page an interview about the causes of vision problems and a therapy research shows helps address them in most (but not all) cases. The interview is posted here on the member radio show page. To hear the interview click on the Radio Show Icon listed down the right column of this page.

Focused Ultra Sound

What follows is correspondence I received from a member of my audience who recently underwent Focused Ultra Sound therapy. As you can see for yourself he was pleased with the outcome.

I have been arguing for years that the medicine of the future will be sound and light therapy. And by George, here it is – finally!

Given the initial results of the early studies, it is clear this therapy will eventually be approved in all countries and will likely be viewed as a viable alternative to deep brain stimulation surgery.

This new therapy will certainly not be the “sure bet” fix that we would all like to see emerge. It is also not something that can be applied once or even several times. A series of treatments are recommended at this early stage of experimentation. You will also need to wait for insurance coverage because the procedure is expensive from what I have been told, but of course so is DBS.

Nonetheless, if you have been seriously considering deep brain surgery, focused ultra sound might be an option to consider that is less intrusive. It will eventually be approved in all countries and may be worth the wait.

Robert:

On 04/16/18 I underwent an MRI-guided Focused Ultra Sound procedure at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel.

Tremors in my right hand have been reduced more than 90%, I’m able to do a lot of things that I couldn’t for at least 5 years.

I can write, type on computer, eat & drink with my right hand, get dressed by myself, walk without rigidity, no more shuffling, no more constipation, etc, etc.

Note that the treatment was for my right side only, for now. They recommend to wait 2 years for my left hand.

The PD condition has not been cured, but now I can have quality of life.

I can’t stop giving thanks to God, I have my life almost back to normal.

I still have medication (Levopar+125, Kemedrine and Motilium); none of them available in the USA. So, I purchased 1-year supply in Israel.

If anyone needs tips on how to get this treatment, feel free to contact me. I want to help others. I know exactly how they feel like.

FYI, MRI-g FUS was created in Rambam Medical Center in 2013, but it’s available in Spain, Switzerland, Italy and U.K.

A few hospitals in USA started recently trials for PD & Essential Tremors, but it might take 5-10 years to be approved by FDA. Plus the conditions to be accepted for trials are ridiculous and reserved for only patients that have been under medication manufactured by the sponsor pharmacy (sounds obscene, doesn’t it?).

I know my journey is long toward healing, but God has used MRI-g FUS and the wonderful and chosen people of Israel to change dramatically the symptoms we PD patients endure.

Coffee Update from Richard Melvin

Robert,

Of all the sections in my documentary I was unsatisfied with the Coffee and Cigarette video because I felt it was incomplete.  I went back and significantly upgraded the section from 13 1/2 minutes to 36 1/2 minutes.  I feel the most significant new information is the relationship between black tea, butyric acid and PD.  I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Encouraging Research for Light Therapy

Light Therapy Research Reports Encouraging Findings for Parkinson’s Patients on Medications

For the past half century the “gold standard” treatment for Parkinson’s disease has been to replace dopamine that is presumed deficient with medicines and supplements. Let’s face it. After 50 years, these treatment protocols have shown limited efficacy and, unfortunately, can be accompanied by troubling side effects. Many who have elected these such treatment strategies have experienced an impoverished quality of life in the long run.

The challenges confronted by millions of persons with neurological challenges has motivated and inspired me to pursue investigations of other approaches that fall outside traditional treatment protocols.  One such approach that shows initial promise is light (or photobiomodulation) therapy.

Researchers have recently found evidence that light therapy is a promising therapy for persons experiencing the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The retina is believed to play a pivotal  role in the nigrostriatal dopamine system.  Light (obviously) passes through the eyes and shines on the retina which happens to be a close neighbor of the substantia nigra, the organ positioned in the middle of the brain.  I have drawn the logical conclusion is that – Duh – light should of course make a difference!

Light Therapy Research

A study by researchers at the Bronowski Clinic in Australia conducted a longitudinal study of 129 patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Subjects who were classified as compliant – meaning they used light therapy regularly – exhibited significant improvement over subjects that were partially compliant or non-compliant.

An encouraging observation of the compliant subjects was that the drug burden was less with fewer side effects. These results suggest that light therapy shows promise as a therapy to address symptoms of Parkinson’s and a therapy which might potentially reduce the role of medications to suppress symptoms.

I interviewed the inventor of a type of light therapy called photobiomodulation. While there is little systematic evidence that specifically addresses symptoms of Parkinson’s for this particular device, it is a therapy that certainly merits further review and consideration in light of the early research evidence on the merits of light therapy.

I have detailed this new technology on an earlier blog post with a replay of my interview with the inventor, Dr. Lew Lim.  Since diffuse light does not easily pass through the skull, Dr. Lim’s had the brilliant idea to pass the light through a device clipped to the nose. Now, in my book of creativity, that is inventiveness at its best!

Click the image below to hear the interview and learn more about Dr. Lim’s new photobiomodulation device called the Vielight Gamma.

It would seem at this early stage that you cannot go wrong to be open to allow light to shine brightly on the surface of your body and of course your retina!
